on every post within a thread, there is a post id which goes up with each reply. you can now id snipe in threads

ID sniping and Thread/Post IDs are one of the things about forums that make it so much better than midcord. Having organisation gives every post substance; it means something. On midcord, a message is sent and it is immediately drowned out by thousands of messages afterwards. The forums format is just far superior and midcord is completely incompatible with forums.
