  • If possible, I'd remove smilies altogether because they are almost no different from emojis (if they were to be kept it should be in a smaller menu).
  • I don't really know why the text field is white when the rest of the page has got a black background, but I'd make the colours consistent.
  • Formatting options are nice, but I didn't mind the way the worked on RT, where the page was clean and formatting was adjusted via symbols (e.g. enclosing text in asterisks to italicise it)
  • The post options should be removed as they serve zero important purpose.
  • Remove the Thread Subscription list.

Obviously it's early days for the site, but this is our new home. We should make sure to uphold simplicity whilst ensuring function and good aesthetics.]]>
