The last time I pasted a code into my Roblox bio to sign into a forum was three and a half years ago. It feels a bit surreal to be here again. I've been part of this community pretty much every step of the way, during the Original RblxTrade Forums and after its deletion. But even I had l lost hope earlier this month. We were meant to get the rblx.trade domain on 2 February 2026 but that got delayed by another year. We were all devastated. AI told Ant that by the end of May, the 'grace period' for the domain should be over and that he should be able to purchase it before 1 June 2026. That doesn't seem like it's going to eventuate.
But having this here, built from the ground up by Ant is really special. It definitely isn't perfect but it doesn't need to be. For years we've all dreamt of being able to sign into a forum with a Roblox account, comment on other's profiles and get the feel of RT back. We took that for granted. We had to live with Proboards and Forummotion for so long. We had to use bunker after bunker to keep ourselves afloat. We had to use mybb and whilst that was great and it truly was a turning point for the community, it just doesn't compare to this.
We've had a lot time to reflect and quite often we sit back as a community and say things like 'This is a new era.' And yes, this is a new era. This is unprecedented. This all goes back to our fight to salvage this community from the destructive hands of Leo. Ant deserves all the credit here and I genuinely thank him. I lose hope and he reinstated it within me. That is truly powerful.
This is Ant's forum, but it's also our community. We've spent too long dreaming for a breakthrough like this one so let's do everything in our power to make this the greatest era in RblxTrade history.
