RblxTrade Compass Test

1. What role should Discord play for RT?

No Discord at all — forum activity must be all that matters, and nobody needs an account or server identity anyway. Discord should exist only to bring back people who left RT, not for its own sake. Discord is fine as a supplement to the forums, nothing more. Discord and the forums should be treated as equally important pillars of RT. Discord should be central, used to grow trading and business reach. Discord is the only thing worth doing — raid or don’t, but forget growing the forums.

2. How strict should RT’s rules be?

As few rules as possible — freedom above all. Enough rules to stop actual harm, but a light touch otherwise. Detailed, strictly enforced rules to keep things safe and respectful. Rules matter mainly to protect the brand and keep it profitable. Rules matter less than which platform you’re even on — Discord has its own norms. Doesn’t affect me much, I mostly lurk without an account.

3. Should the RT community carry out raids?

Yes, raid deserving communities to grow RT. Yes, but only to reconnect with people who’ve drifted off. No, raiding is a waste of time and effort. No, we should stay closed off and not engage outward at all. Doesn’t matter to guests like me either way. Only worth it if it drives trading or business exposure.

4. Are guests a positive for RT?

Yes, they give more people access to the site. No, they never have anything valuable to say. They’re fine within limits. Doesn’t matter as long as they don’t disrupt trading. Guests are often how you find people worth reconnecting with. They just clutter up Discord — keep them off it.

5. What is the main value of RT?

CONFRONTING — reaching out, hard, to those who wronged the community and not letting it slide. Reconnecting with people who drifted away and bringing them back into the fold. Building a safe, respectful, well-moderated community. Nothing in particular — RT exists to make money. The trading and the market itself, above the community around it. Complete freedom of speech and a decentralised community. Staying unattached and anonymous — you don’t need an identity to belong. Nothing fixed — weighing each situation as it comes. Being on Discord. The forums are basically a formality at this point.

6. Is drama an important part of RT culture?

Yes, drama is core to the fabric of RT and always has been. No, drama is unnecessary and has mostly hurt RT. Drama’s fine as a joke, within limits. Drama should be aimed outward — confront, don’t just gossip. Don’t care, I don’t track forum drama. It’s a distraction from profit and from reconnecting with people who left.

7. Which era of ownership did you enjoy the forums most?

Mnep5’s era Leo’s era D0XT’s era I mostly know RT through Discord, not any particular era of the forums. I wasn’t really around, but I’ve reconnected with people from all of them. Doesn’t matter, every era had its moments.

8. Which era of ownership did you enjoy the forums least?

Mnep5’s era Leo’s era D0XT’s era I wasn’t around for any of them — I found RT recently, mostly through Discord. All eras had issues, none really bother me. Doesn’t matter, I care about the money side regardless of era.

9. Moderators of RT should receive the utmost respect, and users should be banned for not listening to them.

No, users have the right to disagree with the moderators. Some pushback is fine, but repeated arguing should be bannable. Yes, disagreement should be a bannable offense — respect matters most. What matters more is confronting bad behaviour directly, mod or not. Doesn’t affect me much, I just want people back in the community regardless of mod drama.
