You must use the image url on the "Image" button in your post I believe let me try if not mnep5 prob has to do some stuff:
But no midcord absolutely does not delete images after 24hrs that would ruin their app for message preservation forever and I have images i sent on midcord to get it hosted on their server to be sent and never heard of this as I dont think it exists.

Okay so they delete links after 24 hours and recycle the ones on their app to stay forever come to find out.
