       2 Years of Mnep5ism

It's been 2 years, 2 years since the beginning of a forum-centric, free ownership in this community. The RTR Forums in 2024 were nothing short of a wasteland, It's been estimated that in those days, only one post was made on the site per week. Due to Leoist restrictions, Guests were unable to even view the site, killing off archival entirely. There had been no updates since 2023, Even whilst the forums were in such a state, Leo insisted on keeping TEM banned over their feud. Activity had centralised on Ashbash's Hangout Club, Everyone had given up. The 2022 migration to RTR killed any hope of discoverability and new users (especially with only a fraction of RT moving to RTR). In this thread, I will look back on my leadership within the community.

In August of that year, sentiment began forming around restoring the forums, But it was just a dream. That was until, around September, maybe, I got into serious talks with Leo about purchasing ownership. Even early on into our discussions it didn't feel likely, I didn't believe RTR was worth the £30~ Leo was selling it for, Why? Because in those days, It was dead. RblxTrade in 2026 is past it's peak, let's be honest, but 2024 RTR was a new level of dead. We settled on fifteen pounds which I was willing to pay. The site was bought and sold at it's lowest point, ever. It's a miracle that it was sold to someone so radically different in their moderation views, and who had been a thorn in the side of the Leoist dictatorship for years.

As for our agreement, the one causing the first RTRvil war, behind the scenes, it was more than keeping TEM banned, it was also to keep Leo on the staff team as a moderator, This never happened though, This was overshadowed by TEM and later Leo rising back to owner, defining the Compromise Era of the community.

When 2024 became 2025, Things only got better, I regained full ownership, New members had joined, Old members had returned, Even Helmut (who played a large role in contacting even more former members due to his Confrontations alongside Noova, who is now an administrator here) , had returned. RobloxForum was completely demolished on 9 February 2025 during Operation: Reality Cfuck. The community was the most ideologically divided it had ever been, causing many dramas, the soul of our community.

In other news, i think the RTRvil wars should be changed, RW1 didn't even last a full day, There were tensions before it but the real drama was over in mere hours. RW2 and RW3 can be joined togther as a single conflict due to them being the same thing, There was almost no time of peace between them, Leoists and their opposition constantly argued with eachother from January to May 2025. That kind of thing is what 2026 RblxTrade is missing, the drama, Not really between individual users (though you are welcome to do this), But between moderation philosophies, perhaps even entire websites just like Operation: Reality Cfuck.

The community feels like 2024 again, Just minus Leo. It's in a very similar state, The forums have recently returned, Though a majority of users are gone, leaving a core userbase of just a few left. There's no doubt that the cycle will continue repeating for a while, I'd hate for the site to die not in drama, but a slow death of inactivity and quitting. That's why we need to actually begin promoting instead of complaining.

Looking back on the previous owners of the site, Their moderation philosophies were nothing short of dismal. D0XT's carelessness laid the foundations for the drama-loving RT we know today and many good times were had there, particularily in 2020 and 2021, Before the blight of a midcord server and the Moderation Era, speaking of which, Leo and Doedz were allowed to have free reign, everything was at their discretion. The former's era was a complete dystopia, Their abuses of power seen in RblxTrade's Moderation Era went completely ucfucked as they founded RTR, successor of the RblxTrade Forums. The complete horrors of the Leoist regime are well known though, It's all on RT Wiki (a site none of you want to use, apparently).

The current state of the site is a lot different to the state of RTR between June 2023 and August 2024. During that dreadful period, nobody actually cared. People would go weeks without thinking about the site. They'd use the midcord server in braindead fashion without the thought of forums crossing their mind. They'd use forums on midcord (and to call them forums would be an insult) without registering the fact that their words posted there were insults to everything that built the forums in the first place. The care factor in 2026 for RT is a lot different. Everyone who is active is playing their part. We've migrated away from group chats. This is the centre of our community again as it always should be. In 2023, those who remained didn't care and those who didn't care used midcord. In 2026, those who remain still care and those who still care suffer from a lack of activity. Our community has proven that we can overcome apathy. Apathy was overcome with just a few community members and a couple of conversations. It was overcome to instil one of our best periods between October 2024 and April 2025. We had general moderator elections weekly, parties, alliances, the greatest number of active users we'd seen in a long time and genuine drama and hostility.

We overcame apathy we classified as impossible to eliminate to we built one of our greatest periods with a few community members and a couple of conversations, establishing one of the most memorable periods in this community's history. Back then we had to eliminate apathy and inactivity. Now we're down only to inactivity. We've done half the work. We're nearly there. And we're nearly there because we care. RT sermons aren't pathetic.
